If you have already paid
your ticket and received points on your license, our attorney may be able to reopen your case and remove the points from
your license. Even if your license has been suspended due to too many points, the attorney may be able to help remove the
extra points to allow you reinstate your license.
The attorney can do this by filing written motions.
For example, if you paid a ticket and thereby accepted guilt, the attorney can file a motion to change your plea to no
contest. If you went to trial, and were found guilty, the attorney can file a motion for relief.
Generally the
motions take 3 to 5 weeks to be heard, and the more time that has passed since the points were imposed to more difficult it
is. Therefore, do not delay. Call as soon as possible so that the attorney can start to work on removing your points.
